Zakat or Not Zakat?
Zakat is due on certain types of wealth that grow or increase. Personal items used daily are not zakatable.
- Zakatable: Cash, gold, silver, business goods, investments.
- Not Zakatable: Personal home, car, clothes, tools, daily items.
- Zakat teaches generosity, responsibility, and care for the community.
