Zakat Calculator Challenge
In this game, we used a simple rule: Zakat is calculated at 2.5% on certain types of wealth that have been held for one lunar year, assuming the nisab (minimum amount) is met.
Rate used: 2.5% of the total zakatable amount in each scenario.
Examples of zakatable wealth: savings, business goods, gold and silver, and some investments.
Personal items: everyday clothes, primary home, and personal-use car are not included in these calculations.
This game is for learning and practice only. For real Zakat, ask a knowledgeable scholar or local imam.
